Two projects that are part of the Wisconsin Rural Partnerships Institute (RPI) presented their work at the Wisconsin Idea Conference on March 2. The conference brings together people from across the Madison area to discuss mutually beneficial approaches to community-university partnership. The setting was an ideal place to share updates on the work being done through RPI, which conducts research and outreach to maintain the vitality of rural communities.
The two projects represented at the conference were:
- Promoting Family-Centered and Family-School-Community Mental Health Support for Children in Rural Wisconsin Communities
- Community Health Workers as a Bridge Between Extension and Rural Healthcare Systems to Support Whole Family Health and Well-Being
